About this page

The social media accounts run by the Office of Dr Beccy Cooper MP (Instagram/Facebook) are there to keep residents of Worthing West informed about Beccy’s work in Parliament and locally across the constituency, and to provide a space for respectful discussion.

We welcome comments, questions and engagement from constituents and members of the public and set out below the expectations of those engaging on the platforms:

Expected standards of behaviour

To ensure this remains a constructive space, all users are expected to:

  • Engage in constructive discussion and debate
  • Avoid personal attacks or spreading misinformation

Moderation policy

To maintain a safe and respectful environment, comments may be hidden or removed if they include:

  • Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic or otherwise discriminatory language
  • Hate speech or abusive content
  • Threats, harassment or intimidation
  • Misleading or deliberately false information
  • Defamatory or libellous statements
  • Spam or repeated posting
  • Content that is inflammatory or designed to provoke rather than contribute to discussion

Users who repeatedly breach these guidelines may be blocked from the page.

  • Comments will be moderated in accordance with the policy above
  • Not all comments will receive a response or reply

Where appropriate and where capacity allows, we will respond to comments or questions publicly.
